Dr. Cody Christensen grew up in Farmington Utah and attended Davis High School. After serving a mission in Peru he graduated from BYU in Exercise Science. He then earned his medical degree from the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. After completing his medical degree he did a medicine preliminary internship at the University of Illinois Peoria, St. Francis Medical Center. He stayed there for both his Diagnostic Radiology Residency and Fellowship training in Vascular and Interventional Radiology. Dr. Christensen has been with Red Sands Vein and Vascular and St. George Radiology since 2017.
In addition to treating venous insufficiency, Dr. Christensen has a special interest in treating peripheral vascular disease, stroke intervention, and cancer treatments. He specializes in treating all of these with minimally invasive, image guided, techniques.
Dr. Christensen and his lovely wife, Nikell, are proud parents of 6 kids. They enjoy spending time with their kids doing outdoor activities and sports. They enjoy traveling and exploring the world making memories. Dr. Christensen has particular interest in fishing and golfing.
