Dr. Daniel Adams is a native of St. George and graduated from Dixie High School. He completed his undergraduate education at Dixie State College and the University of Utah before attending Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. He then completed a transitional year internship at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah. He returned to Boston for a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Tufts Medical Center followed by a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the University of Washington affiliated hospitals in Seattle, Washington.
Dr. Adams specializes in treating a wide range of diseases with the most advanced and minimally invasive procedures. His areas of professional focus include comprehensive treatment of chronic venous insufficiency and other vein disorders, pelvic congestion syndrome, peripheral arterial disease, benign prostatic hyperplasia, and treatments for tumors in the liver and kidneys. He also provides minimally invasive treatment for acute stroke, pulmonary embolism, deep vein thrombosis, bleeding, and other emergent and urgent conditions.
Dr. Adams serves as the medical director of the Red Sands Vein and Vascular Clinic. He has had the opportunity to serve in multiple other leadership roles. He was chief resident at Tufts Medical Center. He previously served as the medical director of the vascular lab at Dixie Regional Medical Center, and the chairman of the Radiology department at Dixie Regional Medical Center.
Dr. Adams spends most of his time with his wife Anne and their four boys. Some of his favorite activities include travel, mountain biking, food, and spending time with family and friends.
